Welcome!

Since 1989, Falcon has been an integral part of Greater Cincinnati's thriving theater community. We welcome you to that long and exciting tradition.

Falcon has always been dedicated to both our artists and our audience as the relationship between the two is what makes live theater such an exceptional art. The creation of a play takes collaboration between actors, directors, designers, and a host of talented people. But it is the union of our finished piece with the emotional and intellectual response of you, our audience, that creates a performance.

Welcome to Falcon! Thank you for visiting our website and for participating in this unique experience.

Down the Road is a powerful drama that will have you talking about it long after you leave the theater.  This rarely performed play by one of America’s greatest playwrights takes audiences on a journey into the dark corners of the mind of a serial killer.  It’s definitely a theatrical experience you won’t want to miss!

Down the Road opens June 11!

Down The Road

Lee Blessing’s provocative play explores some of the deepest and darkest places in the human psyche.  Down the Road is a powerful drama about good and evil and the very fine, grey line that separates to two.

The play follows Dan and Iris Henniman, both writers, as they embark on a new stage of their careers…writing a true crime book about serial killer Bill Reach.  As the couple spends time with Reach, and with each other, we start to see changes in them.

“What price fame?”  How far would you go to have a best selling book?  How does society punish or reward sensational acts of violence?  Does the media help prevent crimes like these…or does it promote them?

Down The Road explores many of these questions and it is a night of theater you won’t soon forget.

The three person cast is made up of Falcon veterans Dan Doerger, Tracy Schoster and Ted Weil.  Directed by Ed Cohen, this is the final production of our 20th anniversary season and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

Please bring 16 bars of a rock or up tempo song and be prepared to do cold readings from the script.
